Take a Three Steps — Accept, Forgive, Give

37 “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.[a]” (Luke 6:37-38 NLT)

37-38"Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults— unless, of course, you want the same treatment. Don’t condemn those who are down; that hardness can boomerang. Be easy on people; you’ll find life a lot easier. Give away your life; you’ll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity." (Luke 6:37-38 Message)

This is so important.  And I’ve had such a hard time with this myself.  I’m hoping that my sharing my struggle with this will empower you.  Many of you probably do a much better job of this.

The three key steps:

I know that these three areas are powerful, essential steps towards wealth, abundance, prosperity and richness in all aspects of life.

And they can be hard.  So that’s why having specific actions and specific prayer in this area is so key.

Prayer

Ask God to provide names of specific people He wants you to Accept, Forgive, and to Give to.  Spend time with this and let Him really guide you on this to clear the way for your plans.

Action

Write down how you would act instead of doing what you would normally do.  There’s a guy I’ve had to work with who was difficult — stubborn, hard to understand, not-responsive.  I need to just be more patient with him rather than chewing him out, and present to him my side and ask for his help.  Do the same for the rest: work deep in areas where you need to take Action, and it will clear the path towards your Goals and Vision.
